Michael Evans was born on July 27, 1920, in Sittingbourne, England. He served as a navigator for the RAF in WWII, flying during the blitz of London. Evans later studied at the Old Vic School and made his London stage debut in 1948. He co-starred in the 1951 production of Gigi with Audrey Hepburn, toured with ** Fair Lady and played numerous roles on television. He died in 2007.
